WFSB-TV’s Hello Connecticut show recently featured CT Veteran Grown, a U.S. SBA-backed initiative to provide CT Farmer Veterans with a variety of resources, as well as to promote the Homegrown by Heroes logo to consumers. Host Renee DiNino interviewed CT RC&D's Sarah Layton about the CT Veteran Grown initiative, as well as two Farmer Veterans businesses: Rosa Farm's chicken and duck eggs as well as sourdough baked goods, and Wilkinson Farm's maple syrup products.
