"It's become a holiday tradition for a lot of families. We make it a family affair."  — RACHEL MCKENNA

A crew from Fox61 recently featured a Connecticut Farmer Veteran on the "Work in Connecticut" segment. The news crew visited Stonewall Acres in Coventry, Ct., to speak with owner Rachel McKenna and see her popular wreath-making workshops in the flesh.

Rachel is a veteran of the Connecticut National Guard and first established the farm as The Cut Flower Farmer in 2017. For a number of years the farm has been putting on wreath making workshops to ring in the holiday season, and they have people come from as far as Florida to make their own wreaths.

"It's become a holiday tradition for a lot of families," Rachel said, "We make it a family affair."
